NFL Players Association Released Statement About Pence Walkout — It’s Not Good…

Go figure, a workers union has taken a ‘resist Trump’ stance over the rash of disrespectful kneelings by NFL players during the national anthem.

Following several weeks of an open feud between President Trump, who is proudly standing with pride in our nation and the sacrifices made to protect it, and spoiled, ignorant millionaire jocks who are confusing publicity stunts done in a workplace environment and actual commitment to societal change done in one’s free time, Vice President Mike Pence made headlines when he left an Indianapolis Colts game on October 8 when players were seen kneeling during the anthem.

The following day, writes the Conservative Fighters, the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) issued an idiotic statement with the title ‘NFLPA Statement on Players’ Constitutional Rights’. It is idiotic because the right to free speech does not apply to work place settings, but when have pesky facts stopped the Left from a good opportunity at spewing propaganda.

The statement reads:

“NFL players are union members and part of the labor movement that has woven the fabric of America for generations. Our men and their families are also conscientious Americans who continue to be forces for good through our communities and some have decided to use their platform to peacefully raise awareness to issues that deserve attention.

“It is a source of enormous pride that some of the best conversations about these issues have taken place in our locker rooms in a respectful, civil and thoughtful way that should serve as a model for how all of us can communicate with each other.

“We should not stifle these discussions and cannot allow our rights to become subservient to the very opinions our Constitution protects. That is what makes us the land of the free and home of the brave.”

Freedom has been gifted to our citizens by men and women willing to sacrifice themselves to the preservation of the American ideals, not the advocacy of the Balkanization of identity politics. American patriotism implies a melding of its parts into a monolithic entity of advocated freedom and opportunity for all its members, while the fads trumpeted by SJWs are divisive by nature and centrifugal in action.

The NFLPA has chosen to defy the fans of the NFL and have hopefully imperiled the vitality of this sport so we can see former millionaire players kicked to the curb
